Spoiler Warning:

This film deals with the crisis in Benghazi in Libya following the overthrow of the Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi.  It does not deal with the guilt or innocence of Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton.  In fact, there is no mention of Clinton.  Rather the film shows the terrible situation the American Embassy was in when it was attacked at 9:40 PM, September 11, 2012, by members of Ansar al-Sharia resulting in the deaths of U.S. Ambassador to Libya J. Christopher Stevens and U.S. Foreign Service Information Management Officer Sean Smith along with two others embassy employees.  Clinton's role in the affair has been used by the Republican Party in an attempt to hurt Clinton's political career.  Nothing much has born fruit from the so-called scandal and will go down as just another nasty incident in the prejudiced attacks against black President Obama and his female secretary of state used by the Republicans in a long list of untrue scandals.

The film is filled with action scenes of battle and makes for an interesting movie to watch.  The film is like a war film and keeps your interest, but it is a long attack indeed.

Patrick Louis Cooney, Ph. D.
