Russian serial killer of children 

This is a good film about Russian serial killer Andrei Chikatilo (Jeffrey DeMunn), who is thought to have killed over 50 children and the detective (Stephen Rea) charged with capturing the killer.  These serial killers are some very sick people and Chikatilo was no exception.  He was a man whose dream of sexual paradise was to orgasm during and after his strangling a child.  And, yes, the viewer is very happy when the killer is finally caught.  Stephen Rea does an excellent job as the harried police lieutenant.
