A couple is separated by the Greek Civil War. While handing out anti-government leaflets, Eleni (Themis Bazaka) meets Babis (Dimitris Katalifos) who have a short relationship. Eleni is jailed for her political activity. In prison she gives birth to a child, who she has to raise in prison. When the dictatorship finally ends, Eleni finds herself with her child’s father, a person she hardly knows.
