Prince of Egypt (1998)

Animated version of the story of Moses.

The Hebrews are slaves in Egypt.   A Hebrew mother with two children, Aaron and Miriam, and a baby is afraid that the Pharaoh's troops will kill her child.  So she places him in a basket and floats him down the Nile.  The basket floats to the princess of Egypt and she takes the baby boy and makes it her own.  She names him Moses.
